Lights Of Boston©

Flying in to Boston
on a midnight flight from Houston.
It's been so long since I've seen home.

I can see the lights below me,
and I'm thinking how it's kind of funny,
that I still feel so all alone.
But when I see the lights of Boston, I'll be home.

There'll be no one there to meet me.
Not a friend to even greet me.
Some how I feel I'll find my way.
But new faces are all I'll see there,
in the places that used to be where
we used to do our hanging round.
So when you see the lights of Boston , I'll be found.

And as the salt filled air
blows through my mind,
like on the beaches in the summer time,
I'll be laying back, just thinking of you.

I'll be searching for
the reason to find,
how we never seemed to make the time,
and I'll be laying back, just thinking of you.

Flying in to Boston,
on a midnight flight from Houston.
It's been so long since I've seen home.

I'll wake up from all my dreams there.
And I'll be reliving all the scenes where and when,
Then I'll realize I'm still gone.

So when you see the lights of Boston
When you see the lights of Boston
When you see the lights of Boston
You'll know where my hearts belongs.
